Spent Grain is a massively overlooked potential source of livestock nutrition that accounts for nearly 85% of our brewing byproduct. Malt is generally made from barley that has been soaked, sprouted, and dried. The grain is deemed “spent” because we cannot use it to make more beer, as most of its starches have been extracted to provide fermentable sugars to the yeast. However, it is still an excellent source of fiber and protein useful in animal feed.
Please contact our Head Brewer using this form to arrange pick-up. The grain is free of charge. We can help load, but you must arrange for pick-up with your own transportation.
